Cindy Pappas began her career at Sullivan Real Estate in 1977 as a secretary, working for Dorothy Sullivan, who became her dear friend and mentor. Upon Dorothy's death in 1983, she purchased the company and has, for almost three decades, has loved her job, the people that she has been privileged to work with, and the many friends that she has made along the way.

Having a job that you love is a great stroke of luck; having that job in a place like Block Island is nothing short of heaven on earth! Cindy and her husband Tony made their home on the island in 1976 and raised their two children, Becky and Jason on the island. Though the years, they have had the pleasure of being involved in island life on multiple levels. Tony served as the minister of the Harbor Church for twenty years and the church and its ministries continue to be an important part of their lives.

Rebecca Pappas Clark was born and raised on Block Island, Rhode Island.  She went to the Block Island School through freshman year and finished her schooling at Suffield Academy in Suffield, Connecticut.  After high school (and some traveling!) she attended Pace University in New York City, majoring in English.  During her college years she became a licensed real estate agent in Rhode Island and New York. 

Shannon is a native Rhode Islander; Block Island has been a part of her life since the very beginning. She began vacationing with her family and then became a summer worker during college. She graduated from Rhode Island College earning a B.A. in Psychology and later a Masters in Counseling. After graduation, she decided to move to Block Island full-time.
